Kevin Wakefield offers voice lessons and vocal coaching in the Spokane area for kids, teens and adults, in person in Colbert and online. Lessons build breath support, pitch, range and confidence, working from songs the student loves, whether that is pop, rock, worship or musical theater.

Kevin found his own singing voice in his freshman year at Eastern Washington University, after years as a trumpet player. Singing has been part of his work ever since, in touring groups, variety bands, theme park shows and worship teams. He believes every student has a voice worth developing, and his job is to help them find it and use it.
Students learn technique through the music they are excited about, from classic rock to today’s hits. Breathing, tone and pitch work are built into each song, so practice never feels like homework.
Studio recitals give singers a friendly, real audience. Kevin has spent decades behind a microphone, and he teaches students how to use one, how to handle nerves, and how to enjoy the moment.
